Biography

Matthew Kirby is a passionate and empathetic attorney at Morgan & Morgan’s Tampa office. He specializes in premises liability and slip-and-fall accidents. Born and raised in Virginia, Matthew’s dedication to advocating for the underdog has been a guiding principle throughout his life. In 2020, he earned his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Virginia, double majoring in Political Philosophy, Policy and Law, and foreign affairs, which cemented his interest in law and justice.

After graduating with honors from George Washington University Law School in 2023, Matthew spent the first 1.5 years of his career serving underprivileged clients. During this time, he developed invaluable trial experience, conducting three jury trials and countless bench trials. These early experiences taught him how to navigate complex legal challenges and solidified his commitment to fighting for justice on behalf of those in need.

Now at Morgan & Morgan, Matthew brings his trial expertise and passion for advocacy to every case. As a member of the Young Lawyers Division, he remains active in the legal community and always strives to grow as an attorney. Known for his compassion and meticulous approach, Matthew ensures that each client feels supported and that their case is handled with the utmost care and precision.
