Biography

After almost two decades of representing businesses and insurance carriers, Matthew Hilt has taken the knowledge and skills he gained defending personal injury cases and turned them toward helping individuals injured by the negligence of others. A graduate of the University of Michigan and Emory University School of Law, he has tried a number of cases in state and federal courts throughout Georgia. He has a wealth of experience with auto accident litigation, wrongful death lawsuits, premises liability cases and products liability claims.

Mr. Hilt has also been honored with the prestigious AV Peer Review Rating by Martindale-Hubbell, the preeminent national publication in the legal field. He is also listed as one of Georgia’s Top Lawyers as published in Atlanta Magazine. He is a member of the Georgia Bar, the Atlanta Bar Association and the Lawyers Club of Atlanta.

Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Matthew Hilt spent over 30 years in Atlanta before transferring to the Morgan & Morgan office in Savannah.
