Biography

Matt is a graduate of Syracuse University College of Law, where he received the John C. Cherundolo Award for Leadership in Advocacy. At Syracuse, he was a member of the National Civil Trial Team and Moot Court Honor Society, where he received the Robert W. Miller Award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy. Before joining Smith Sovik, Matt had the opportunity to extern with Sentinel Holdings, LLC in Washington, D.C., and spent summers working as a law clerk for NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association in Washington and D.J. & J.A. Cirando, Esqs. in Syracuse.
