Biography

After being born and raised in Waynesboro, GA, Seth obtained his bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from University of Georgia in 2017. Seth then proceeded to law school at University of South Carolina, obtaining his J.D. in 2020.

For his first year as an attorney, Seth clerked for the Honorable Alex Kinlaw, Jr. Following his judicial clerkship, Seth started trying cases as a Public Defender for the 14th Circuit in SC (where he clerked during law school). From 2021-2023, Seth excelled in the Courtroom, as a Public Defender including as first chair in a murder trial and in motions practice for multiple drug trafficking trials (while at the same time, managing over 400 cases simultaneously).

Seth married his high school sweetheart, Jessica, and they have a two daughters. Seth is an avid UGA fan, outdoorsmen, boater, and cook. His years of working in and around the Lowcountry means that he has strong ties to this community and its people.
