Biography

When you’ve been practicing law for over 45 years, you develop a perspective that only time and hundreds of cases can provide. That’s the kind of seasoned experience Max Kirk brings to Ball, Kirk & Holm, P.C. As a shareholder at the firm, Max has dedicated his entire career to representing plaintiffs, the people who have been hurt by the negligence of others. Whether it’s a complex medical malpractice claim, a dangerous product, or even a case where another lawyer dropped the ball, Max is the advocate you want in your corner. He graduated with distinction from the University of Iowa back in 1975 and hasn't stopped fighting since. He’s known as a fierce advocate because he truly cares about securing justice for his clients. He isn’t just looking for a quick settlement, he’s looking to make things right for victims who have had their lives turned upside down. Max remains deeply involved in the legal community, but his main priority is always the person sitting across from him. If you need someone who knows the ins and outs of personal injury litigation like the back of his hand, Max is ready to help.

The determination of the need for legal services and the choice of a lawyer are extremely important decisions and should not be based solely upon advertisements, certification, specialization or self-proclaimed expertise. A description or indication of limitation of practice does not mean that any agency or board has certified such lawyers as specialist or expert in an indicated field of law practice nor does it mean that such lawyer is necessarily any more expert or competent than any other lawyer. All potential clients are urged to make their own independent investigation and evaluation of any lawyer being considered. These disclosures are required by the Supreme Court of Iowa.
