Biography

Max Judge is an associate in the Restructuring & Special Situations practice based in London and acts for lenders, insolvency practitioners, funds and corporates on a wide range of UK and cross-border restructuring and insolvency matters.

More recently, Max’s practice has concentrated on the real estate, financial services and IT sectors.

Max draws from his experience on secondment at a special situations fund and placements overseas, including in Europe and Latin America.

Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, Max was an associate in the restructuring teams of various leading UK and international law firms.

Representative Matters

• Advised unsecured creditors under English-law governed derivative contracts with an Italian steel produce manufacturer in connection with a restructuring through parallel English and Italian processes.°

• Supported a global energy and utility consultancy and solutions provider on securing approval of a Part 26A restructuring plan, which received approval from HMRC.°

• Advised a private car park operator and its board of directors on the successful consensual restructuring of its leased car park portfolio and its recapitalisation.°

• Acted for group companies on the restructuring of various Intu shopping centres.°
