Meagan O. Cooper

Attorney Meagan Cooper is an associate with Kagan Law Group. She obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland and her Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. While in law school, she was an associate editor of the Maryland Law Review and a student contributor for the American Bar Association’s Media Alerts on Federal Courts of Appeals Project (Fourth Circuit). Upon graduation, Ms. Cooper received the William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional achievement and service to the school.

Ms. Cooper has had her work published in the Texas Law Review and the Search and Seizure Law Report. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Clayton Greene, Jr. of the Court of Appeals of Maryland.

She routinely practices in the areas of business law and litigation, employment law, and fiduciary/trust litigation. Ms. Cooper represents both plaintiffs and defendants before various state courts, the U.S. district court, arbitrators, and mediators. Ms. Cooper also serves as outside counsel for small companies and assists these companies in all aspects of corporate law, including the formation and organization of new entities, employment and non-competition agreements, business transactions, and other employment matters. She is admitted to the Maryland State Bar and to the Bar of the United States District Court for the District of Maryland.
