Biography

Megan Proulx Dempsey is senior corporate counsel at TECO Energy. Her expertise includes real estate, employment law, eminent domain and commercial transactions. Advocating for the health and safety of children and families has been a priority for Megan during her career. Her charitable work includes serving as a gubernatorial appointee on The Children's Board of Hillsborough County and serving on the board, including as president, of Voices for Children of Tampa Bay. She is a graduate of Leadership Tampa Bay (2012) and a member of several professional organizations, including the Florida Bar Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, the Southeastern Electric Exchange Joint Use Committee and the Commercial Real Estate Women of Tampa Bay. Megan also served as an editor of the Stetson Law Review.
