Biography

Megan is an Associate in Farris’ Litigation group where she maintains a broad civil litigation practice, including matters relating to public law, estate litigation, and commercial and civil disputes. Megan joined Farris in 2023 as a summer articling student before returning as an articling student in 2024.

Megan received her Juris Doctor from the University of Victoria in 2024. During law school, Megan participated in the Willms and Shier Environmental Law Moot, where she was recognized as a Distinguished Oralist. She also won several awards for academic performance and community involvement, including the Law Foundation of BC Public Interest Award and the BLG Professional Excellence Award.

Prior to law school, Megan attended the University of British Columbia - Okanagan campus, where she received a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Biology.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys running, hiking, skiing, playing volleyball, and walking her parents’ duck tolling retriever, Piper.
