Biography

Meghan Lambert Healy joined our firm in June of 2003. Ms. Healy primarily practices corporate law. She handles all aspects of general corporate law and corporate acquisitions, both stock and asset purchases. Ms. Healy also handles non-profit corporate work, such as filing Form 1023, obtaining federal tax-exempt status from the Internal Revenue Service, and applying for exemption from real property taxes.

Ms. Healy began her law career at Coudert Brothers in New York City, where she interned as a summer associate and then continued on after graduation from law school. At Coudert Brothers, Ms. Healy worked with a variety of clients, domestic and international, public and private. She was involved in mergers and acquisitions, private placements, initial public offerings, privatizations, joint ventures and general securities and corporate work.

Ms. Healy graduated magna cum laude from St. John’s University School of Law in Jamaica, New York, in 1997, where she was a member of the Law Review. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1998. Ms. Healy graduated from the University of Vermont in 1992 with a B.A. in English. After graduation, Ms. Healy worked as an institutional sales assistant at Dean Witter until she began law school in 1995.
