Melanie J. Sacks grew up in Long Island, N.Y. and Coral Springs, F.L. After graduation she enrolled in the University of Florida and graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelors of Science in Psychology. After college, she attended the Western Michigan University Cooley Law School and graduated in 1998. Attorney Melanie J. Sacks has years of experience in representation of clients in Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcy cases and has handled thousands of Chapter 7 and 13 cases. She is a member of the Florida Bar, Jacksonville Bankruptcy Bar Association, Jacksonville Bar Association, American Bankruptcy Institute and National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys. Melanie regularly attends national seminars involving consumer bankruptcy issues to stay informed of any changes in the bankruptcy rules and laws.
