Melissa A. Shaw-Brown: Attorney with Baggett McCall LLC

Biography

The daughter of a New Orleans police officer, Melissa “Missy” Shaw-Brown knows what it means to be a hard worker. Growing up, she watched her father wake up early to go to work and provide for his family. His work ethic was passed down to Melissa, who prides herself on outworking the competition. Her clients are often pleasantly surprised when she returns a phone call on a Friday evening. It puts them at ease so that they aren’t worrying all weekend about an upcoming trial.

Once the law bug “bit” Melissa she moved to Lake Charles and joined the team at Baggett McCall. She loves being a personal injury attorney in Louisiana and perhaps equally important, she loves living in Lake Charles. Missy will tell you that she moved to Lake Charles for the job, but stayed in Lake Charles for the community.
