Melissa E. Webb

Melissa Webb brings a valuable “defense-insider” perspective to her plaintiff-side personal injury practice in Tulsa. Early in her career, she defended workers’ compensation and insurance claims, experience that now helps her understand how insurers evaluate cases, what arguments they rely on, and how they approach negotiation and trial. Melissa grew up in Webb City, a small town near Joplin, Missouri. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas and then graduated from the University of Arkansas School of Law. After law school, she moved to Tulsa and began practicing in September 2010. Melissa started at a private firm focused on workers’ compensation insurance defense, where she sharpened her courtroom skills, took hundreds of depositions, and built strong negotiating experience through frequent mediations. In 2012, she moved in-house to serve as counsel for a major nationwide insurance company, defending both general liability and workers’ compensation cases.
