Biography

Melissa G. Patterer practices in the areas of insurance litigation and personal injury. Melissa is dedicated to representing individuals who have been harmed by the negligence of others. She was born in Miami, Florida and is a first-generation American citizen. She graduated with honors from the University of Florida with a BA in Criminology and obtained an MS in Criminal Justice from Florida International University before obtaining her Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law.

Ms. Patterer began her legal career as a civil defense litigator handling class actions and mass litigation on behalf of insurance companies. There, Ms. Patterer gained valuable insight into the insurance industry and the tactics employed by insurers to minimize payouts. At Morgan & Morgan, Ms. Patterer proudly represents the interests of the injured in disputes against insurance companies, passionately advocating on their behalf. In her free time, Ms. Patterer enjoys being outdoors, reading, traveling, and spending time with her daughter Milena.
