Melody received her B.A. (1984) and M.A. (1985) in Economics from Boston University and her J.D. from Southwestern University School of Law in 2000. During law school, she was a member of Southwestern’s International Law Journal and moot court program. Melody was admitted to the California Bar in 2000 and is admitted to practice before the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. She has provided pro bono legal assistance to needy individuals through Public Counsel and performed volunteer work for the Los Angeles County Superior Court Domestic Violence Program. Melody practices in the areas of litigation, and probate, trusts and estates.
