Melody Parman

As a managing partner at Avrek Law Firm, I focus my work on personal injury trials and high-stakes cases where families need answers, support, and real accountability. My interest in debate and leadership started early, and at UCLA I leaned into it—leading the Political Science Club and competing in Model United Nations. I later earned my law degree from California Western in San Diego, completing the program on an accelerated timeline. Since becoming a California attorney in 2010, I’ve committed my career to representing people harmed by negligence, especially children and families who deserve to be heard. I’ve been fortunate to help achieve life-changing outcomes, including a $45 million settlement for an injured minor, a $42.75 million recovery for a traumatic brain injury tied to improper U-Haul maintenance, and a $27 million settlement for a motorcyclist that exceeded policy limits. Along the way, I’ve been recognized nationally by organizations such as The National Trial Lawyers and honored as a Patriotic Employer by the U.S. Department of Defense. Outside the office, I love traveling, fitness, yoga, hiking, and cooking—and I’m grateful to practice law alongside family and close friends.
