Biography

Meredythe is a fourth-generation Austinite with insurance in her DNA. Growing up in a family of local agents and adjusters, she learned the industry from the inside out long before she ever set foot in a courtroom. After graduating from SMU Law and starting her career in Dallas, she felt the pull of home and returned to Austin to practice. For a decade, she worked as a partner at a statewide defense firm, representing the big insurance companies. While she gained invaluable insight into how these corporations operate, she eventually grew tired of watching adjusters prioritize the bottom line over real people. Today, Meredythe uses that insider knowledge to fight for those who have been seriously hurt. Whether she is handling a complex trucking accident, a traumatic brain injury, or a wrongful death claim, she knows exactly how the other side thinks. Her dedication hasn’t gone unnoticed, as she has been named a Texas Rising Star by Thomson Reuters for four consecutive years—an honor given to fewer than 5% of lawyers in the state. When she isn’t advocating for her clients, Meredythe is usually soaking up the Austin lifestyle with her husband, Todd, and their young son. You’ll likely find them exploring the local music scene, enjoying a day on the lake, or checking out a new restaurant.
