Biography

Mervate Mohammad graduated Cum Laude with Honors from Loyola University of Chicago, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in History and Political Science with minors in Islamic World Studies and International Studies. She received her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School, is licensed to practice in Illinois, and holds Federal General Bar admission to the Northern District of Illinois Supreme Court. Trained as a mediator through Northwestern University’s Mediation Program, Mervate brings both legal acumen and compassionate dispute resolution to her practice. She has served as counsel and clerk in firms focusing on family and corporate law, handling all stages of divorce, legal separation, orders of protection, and parentage cases.
