Biography

Mia is an Associate in the Family Law Group. She has represented clients at both the Provincial Court and Supreme Court in British Columbia and at mediation. Mia has experience advising her clients on all family law matters, including separation, divorce, complex property division, parenting and contact arrangements, child and spousal support, with empathy, diligence and care. Prior to joining Farris, Mia practiced family law at a boutique family law firm in downtown Vancouver.

Mia earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Alberta Faculty of Law in 2022. During law school, she served as President of the Law Students’ Association and Co-Chair of the Women’s Law Forum.

Born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta, Mia is an lifelong fan of the Oilers and good winter tires. In her free time, she enjoys being outside, trying new recipes, and topping up her hold list at the public library.
