Biography

Mia M. Hartley is an associate attorney in WSHB’s Tampa office whose practice focuses on insurance coverage.

Ms. Hartley earned her undergraduate degree from the Florida State University, where she majored in Music Therapy. She subsequently received her MMus Degree in Ethnomusicology as a US-UK Fulbright Scholar at the University of London, Royal Holloway. Following her studies in London, she worked as a congressional staffer in the House of Representatives in Washington D.C. before beginning her law studies at Stetson University of College of Law. In addition to earning her JD/MBA while at Stetson Law, she served as an Adjunct Professor at the University of South Florida, and was a Finalist and awarded Best Oralist in her argument rounds in the Jeffrey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition.
