Biography

Michael Costello was born and raised in Central Florida. In his youth, his competitive spirit became apparent through his participation in local sports. His drive manifested itself in high school as he received Varsity letters in baseball, football, and track, and was named captain of the baseball team. He has always played to win, and he continues to carry this determination for success on behalf of his clients.

Michael attended Saint Leo University near the Tampa area of Southern Florida for his undergraduate degree. He graduated from the Honors Program and earned a B.A. in History. He was an active member of Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society, as well as co-chairmen of the intramural council. He went on to attend Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, Florida where he was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity and completed the Children and Family Law Concentration Program.

Michael’s years of hard work and relentless dedication to his clients earned him the position of Managing Partner of the Orlando office. He practices in various areas including automobile negligence, general liability, premises liability, products liability, property damage, representation of public entities, subrogation insurance coverage Issues and transportation & trucking. Michael was awarded a Florida Trend Legal Elite NOTABLE - Managing Partner for 2023, named to the 2024 edition of Best Lawyers in America® for Personal Injury Litigation-Defendants and named a Super Lawyers© (2024), for his exceptional work in Insurance Coverage.

Michael lives near downtown Orlando and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and Orlando Sport and Social Club. He has volunteered with the American Cancer Society and Habitat for Humanity. In his spare time he enjoys reading, playing golf, traveling with his wife, and he is an avid football and motor-sports fan.
