Michael DesJardins, the esteemed
Managing Shareholder and Founder of the Firm, boasts a career
spanning decades in delivering successful legal representation. Since
1986, he has demonstrated proficiency in handling a diverse array of
litigation matters encompassing business, real estate, personal
injury, employment, worker’s compensation, discrimination, wrongful
termination, and harassment.
In
1983, Michael DesJardins earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from the
University of Minnesota, setting the foundation for his illustrious
legal journey. Subsequently, he pursued legal studies at Marquette
University Law School, where he distinguished himself as a member of
the Marquette Law Review. In 1986, he earned his Juris Doctorate
degree, marking the culmination of his academic pursuits.
Following
his graduation, Mr. DesJardins embarked on a noteworthy chapter of
service as an officer in the United States Navy, commissioned as a
lieutenant in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps. Stationed at
Naval Air Station, North Island, he provided legal services to
diverse units, including helicopter and jet squadrons, Construction
Battalions, SEAL teams, and others based at the Naval Amphibious
base, Coronado. His military career involved trying numerous
courts-martial, administrative discharge hearings, and offering legal
assistance to service members on civil and military matters. In 1991,
Mr. DesJardins transitioned to civilian law practice.
With
a wealth of knowledge and experience accumulated since 1986, Mr.
