Michael B. Lowe

Michael B. Lowe is a principal in the firm, having practiced with the firm since 1990, handling a wide range of commercial, professional liability and defense litigation.

Mike received a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor where he graduated with distinction in 1987. In 1990, he graduated with a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas School of Law. During Law School, Mike was a member of the Law Review and an active member of the Kansas Defender Project.

Mike is admitted to practice in both federal and state courts in Kansas and Missouri. He has handled litigation involving: complex commercial disputes, medical malpractice, personal injury, probate disputes, securities fraud, product liability, insurance coverage disputes, negligence actions, and employment discrimination. In addition, Mike has assisted clients in various administrative proceedings in both Kansas and Missouri.

Mike’s professional memberships include the Kansas Bar Association, the Missouri Bar, the Johnson County Bar Association, and the American Bar Association. He is also a member of the Kansas Association of Defense Counsel.

Outside of his law practice, Mike is involved in many civic activities. He serves on the board of the Front Porch Alliance. He has served on the board of the Johnson County Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). He is active in state and local political issues.
