Michael Chambers

Michael Chambers is a partner in the Bose McKinney & Evans Environmental Group. His practice is focused on managing complex commercial matters including regulatory compliance, due diligence, litigation and business and real estate transactions. He has twenty-five years of practice and leadership focused on environmental, health and safety matters.

Prior to joining Bose McKinney & Evans, Michael served as in-house counsel for major pharmaceutical and petroleum companies. In these roles, he represented the companies in all aspects of environmental, health and safety law, including counseling on permitting and regulatory compliance issues, advising on proposed and existing chemical regulations, overseeing remediation and development for contaminated sites, overseeing due diligence and contracting for health and safety issues arising in mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions and overseeing environmental and safety litigation.

Michael was also a partner in a large law firm, where he represented commercial and manufacturing clients in all aspects of state, federal, and administrative litigation, including environmental cost recovery and contribution, insurance coverage, toxic torts and defense of government enforcement actions under CERCLA and state statutes for cleanup of contaminated sites.
