Biography

Michael E. Duffy, Managing Partner and General Counsel of the Long Island, New York law firm, Duffy & Duffy is a highly experienced civil litigator with a passion for the law and a desire to represent victims of medical malpractice. Mr. Duffy concentrates his practice on catastrophically injured victims and wrongful death claims involving medical malpractice and personal injury in New York. He has recovered millions of dollars on behalf of his clients and his landmark settlements have been widely publicized both locally and nationally. As an active member of various trial and NY Bar associations, Mr. Michael E. Duffy is also very involved in philanthropic endeavors and giving back to the community, having served on the board of directors of United Cerebral Palsy of Suffolk County, “We Care” of the Nassau County Bar Association, the Adelphi Breast Cancer Coalition, Cancer Care of Long Island, among many other worthwhile local causes.
