Michael J. Driscoll: Attorney with Pillinger Miller Tarallo, LLP

Biography

Michael is an accomplished litigator with over 20 years of experience in state and federal courts, primarily on behalf of defendants. He joined PMT in 2024 as a partner in the Elmsford office. His current practice specializes in defense of labor law, premises liability, and general commercial matters, which involves all accompanying insurance and indemnification issues that arise in complex multiparty litigation.

Prior to joining PMT Michael engaged in a diverse and wide-ranging practice that spanned multiple practice areas and disciplines of state and federal law. He has successfully defended or prosecuted matters involving NY Labor Law, premises liability, construction defect, products liability (pharmaceutical and general products), medical malpractice, toxic torts, constitutional violations (federal and state), NY Religious Corporations Law, oil and gas rights, condo/co-op disputes, UCC/ contracts, New York Business Law, shareholder disputes, general liability, motor vehicle accidents, subrogation, Workers’ Compensation, and PIP Transfer. Michael is also an accomplished appellate practitioner, having successfully prepared and argued multiple appeals before the New York State Appellate Division’s First and Second Departments. He is a well-rounded litigator who uses his wealth of experience to resolve matters effectively and efficiently at all stages of litigation.

Michael understands that his clients come first, and that their individual needs, concerns, and objectives are the most important details in every matter he handles. He also understands that being involved in litigation, for a plaintiff or a defendant, is stressful, but that does not mean litigation needs to be unnecessarily combative to result in a positive outcome. Michael treats both his clients and adversaries with respect and civility—no matter how contentious a matter is or becomes.

Outside of work, Michael lives in Edgemont and is married with two young children. As such, he is often frequently engaged in many varied outside activities that parents with young children often find themselves doing. Prior to this life, Michael and his wife lived in NYC and traveled extensively. Michael also volunteers as a Trustee on the Board of Directors for Special Citizens Futures Unlimited Inc., a fantastic not-for-profit organization that provides care, services, and housing for persons with autism and other related developmental disabilities.
