Mike has practiced as a civil litigator and trial attorney for nearly fifteen years. Mike’s cases have spanned a variety of different commercial matters, including business divorces/corporate disputes, breach of contract, fraud, insurance bad faith, construction defects, real estate disputes, professional malpractice, and complex collections involving fraudulent transfers and piercing the corporate veil. Mike prides himself on offering practical, blunt, and easily-digested advice for his litigation clients.Mike also practices as outside corporate counsel for businesses and other entities. In this role, he works with senior officers, board members, and other stakeholders to accomplish larger organizational goals. Specific tasks include risk management, managing litigation counsel, interfacing with governmental authorities, resolving client disputes, and drafting a variety of transactional documents for use with vendors, clients, employees, and other parties. Mike has represented corporate clients in a variety of industries over the years, including, but not limited to, customer software development, multimedia agency work, CBD bioprocessing, assisted living care, restaurants, real estate development, and local chambers of commerce.
