Michael J. Maxey is a partner at Sloane and Walsh.

Mr. Maxey concentrates his practice on a broad range of civil litigation matters and issues, including medical malpractice defense and general liability defense, as well as health information privacy issues and matters involving HIPAA and data privacy laws.

He is admitted to practice in state and federal courts in Massachusetts and Connecticut.

Mr. Maxey earned his Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from Georgetown University in 2011 and his Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School in 2015. During law school, Mr. Maxey served as a judicial intern in the Plymouth Superior Court. Mr. Maxey received a Suffolk University Jurisprudence Award in both Evidence and Criminal Law. He also served as a law clerk at Sloane and Walsh from 2014-2015.
