Before joining us, Michael spent time at Am Law 100 firms and boutiques, even running his own practice for a while. This diverse background means he’s seen it all—from representing Fortune 500 giants to helping local small businesses navigate high-stakes commercial disputes and contract negotiations. He’s a "Double Duck," having earned both his undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Oregon, and he even spent a summer teaching American law in China. Whether he’s acting as first or second chair in a trial, Michael has a knack for securing favorable verdicts for both plaintiffs and defendants. He’s licensed in all California state courts and three federal districts, making him a formidable advocate across the board. What really sets Michael apart is his empathy; he genuinely cares about counseling his clients through stressful times. Since moving to Redondo Beach in 2014, he’s embraced the SoCal lifestyle with his wife and two kids. When he’s off the clock, you’ll probably find him cheering for the Ducks, planning a trip to Disneyland, or at home in a board game battle with his family and their pets, Cupcake the goldendoodle and Tiggy the cat.
