Biography

MICHAEL J. WEISS, Associate with the Firm concentrates his practice on first and third-party liability coverage questions, intra-state and inter-state transit litigation, property subrogation and insurance defense. During law school, Michael served as a Staff-Editor on the Annals of Health Law Journal and a research assistant for Professor James T. Gathii. He worked with the Advanced Health Justice Project, which is medical-legal partnership between Loyola University Chicago School of Law and Erie Family Health Center, as an Illinois Supreme Court Rule 711 licensed student clinician.

Michael litigates cases in state and federal courts throughout the country, and is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Michael is an active member of the Chicago Bar Association and Illinois Bar Association.

Michael is a graduate of the University of San Diego (B.A., philosophy) and Loyola University Chicago School of Law (J.D.) where he received certificates in Advocacy, Health Law and International Law.
