Michael Jay Wyatt

From an early age, Michael J. Wyatt was drawn to the idea of lawyers using the courtroom to protect everyday people. He followed that calling to Washburn University, graduating summa cum laude with a B.A. in 2004, then earning his J.D. with honors from Washburn Law in 2007. Mike started his career on the defense side at Klenda, Mitchell, Austerman & Zuercher, LLC in Wichita, an experience that helped him understand how cases are evaluated and fought. He now serves as a partner and trial attorney at Mann Wyatt Tanksley Injury Attorneys Midwest Personal Injury Firm. Mike helps injured clients throughout Kansas, Colorado, Missouri, and Oklahoma, and he has handled many cases resulting in multi-million-dollar outcomes through settlement and litigation. His work centers on negligence claims such as wrongful death, auto and trucking collisions, catastrophic injuries, explosions at home or on the job, product defects, nursing home neglect, and unsafe property conditions. Licensed in state and federal courts in four states, Mike is active in bar and trial lawyer organizations and has served on the Kansas Trial Lawyers Association executive board. He has been recognized by National Trial Lawyers, Super Lawyers Rising Stars, KC Magazine, and AVVO. He also values church and nonprofit service, his wife Jamie, and their three children.
