About Attorney Awards

Biography

As a young adult, Michael Timberlake met a Birmingham lawyer whose firm had been part of a number of high-profile personal injury cases. One of those was a product liability case against Ford Motor Company. That lawyer was involved in the discovery process that ultimately led to Ford being held liable. And he also inspired Michael’s decision to spend his career advocating for individuals who have been injured.

It is important to Michael that clients know he is not only a competent attorney, but he is also caring and trustworthy. Over his 24-year career, he has seen clients through some of the most difficult times in their lives. He is grateful for those opportunities and remains committed in his service to them. That commitment fosters his activity as a member of the Nursing Home Litigation Group for the American Association of Justice and as the Nursing Home Litigation Group chair for the Alabama Association of Justice.

Outside of work, Michael finds inspiration through travel, new experiences, and nature. His hobbies include hiking, boating, and listening to live music.
