I have known Mike since 1981. He has been an outstanding opponent and colleague. We both now work doing civil defense for parents accused of neglect and abuse of their children. Before that he spent his career in the DA's office.

Mr Mahaffey is an excelent lawyer with a great deal of experience who inexplicably was passed over for a judgship. He has great trial skills and judgment and is a credit to the profession.
