Michael Mackhanlall

Michael T. Mackhanlall is the founding attorney of Mack Law, P.A., a boutique Orlando firm focused on complex and high-net-worth divorce — business owners, executives, physicians, and their spouses. A lifelong Florida native, Michael worked construction alongside his father, then built a career in finance as a FINRA-registered securities broker at a major investment bank before law school. That fluency with balance sheets and business value anchors the practice today: business valuation, executive compensation (RSUs, options, deferred comp), forensic accounting, and privacy-conscious strategy under Florida's equitable-distribution framework.

After 9/11, Michael enlisted in the U.S. Air Force and served as an airborne radio operator supporting combat search-and-rescue and counter-terrorism operations, deploying to Iraq and Afghanistan and earning 347th Rescue Wing Airman of the Year honors (2004, 2005). Mack Law is a veteran-owned firm, and military divorce — SCRA, USFSPA pension division, long-distance parenting plans — remains part of its core work.

He graduated in the top ten percent of his law school class, began as a prosecutor trying cases against hostile witnesses and experts, then defended Fortune 500 auto and tire manufacturers at a top civil trial firm.
