Mr. Boyle's early legal career was marked by a pivotal role as a law clerk to the Honorable Robert Williams of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania. Following this significant experience, he contributed his legal skills to various firms in Philadelphia, representing union members in civil matters, encompassing Social Security disability and workers' compensation. In 1988, Mr. Boyle took a significant step in his career by establishing his own firm, The Law Office of Michael P. Boyle.

His commitment to the legal community is evident through his active membership in esteemed organizations such as the Philadelphia Bar Association, the National Association of Disability Representatives (NADR), and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives (NOSSCR). Mr. Boyle's multifaceted contributions extend to his role as a weekly columnist for the Philadelphia Public Record from 2012 to 2014. Additionally, he shared his knowledge and insights as a lecturer for the National Business Institute from 2006 to 2014, focusing on topics related to Social Security disability and Supplemental Security Income.

In 1979, Mr. Boyle was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar, and his current practice allows him to appear before the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, the Federal District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and the Middle District of Pennsylvania.
