Biography

Michael P. Guagenty is a Partner at Sloane and Walsh, LLP, and is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and the New England School of Law. Mr. Guagenty is admitted to both the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 1994.

Mr. Guagenty concentrates his practice in commercial general liability, product liability and construction matters. Mr. Guagenty’s present focus is in the area of large loss property subrogation for a number of insurers. He is a member of the National Association of Subrogation Professionals and lectures locally on the subject.

Mr. Guagenty has litigated matters before the state District and Superior Courts, the United States District Court, the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination and argued before the Massachusetts Department of Revenue Taxation Board of Appeals and the Massachusetts Appellate Division of the District Court.
