Michael P. Vigorito

As an associate attorney in the Health Care Department, Michael defends healthcare entities in civil litigation matters including medical malpractice and long-term care liability. He also has experience in administrative law including arguing before the Ohio Board of EMS, insurance and general liability defense, and representing fire and EMS departments in various legal and operational matters.

Prior to practicing law, Michael worked for various fire departments and EMS companies in Ohio and Pennsylvania, first as a firefighter/EMT, then as a firefighter/paramedic, and ultimately leading to a career as a critical care flight paramedic. Michael maintains his paramedic certification and continues to work as a flight paramedic and EMS Instructor.

Michael received his A.A.S. in EMS Technology and B.S. in Biology from the University of Akron in 2016 and his J.D. from the University of Akron, School of Law in 2022. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Ohio and the Northern and Southern District Courts of Ohio.
