Biography

Michael Pearson handles a wide variety of litigation in state and federal courts across the United States. Clients include family members of the 19 Granite Mountain firefighters who lost their lives in the sixth-deadliest firefighter disaster in American history, as well as persons catastrophically injured or killed due to the negligence of others. His aviation clients include those injured in airplane and helicopter accidents, as well as airlines, entities and airmen accused by the FAA of violating the Federal Aviation Regulations. General litigation clients range from large business entities to everyday individuals who have lost property or have been unfairly treated. Mike’s aviation law textbook, “ Foundations of Aviation Law ,” is used by students in numerous institutions of higher learning. He is a graduate of the Department of Transportation aviation accident investigation program, a certified air traffic control specialist (CPC), a pilot, and a professor at Arizona State University, where he has taught aviation law, aviation regulations, and other legal subjects since 1993. Since the firm's inception Curry, Pearson & Wooten, PLC has successfully tried, and settled, multiple seven figure cases.
