He has effectively resolved tens of millions of dollars in cases on behalf of his clients, and does not back down when a trial or an appeal are necessary. He prides himself on his thoughtful, precise and relentless representation of his clients to achieve the best outcome for their case. He is approachable and will always offer personal attention to each client. In fact, many clients text message with him on a regular basis regarding the status of their cases. Many former clients, in fact, stay in touch with Mr. Ricchiuto, and think of him as 'their lawyer' years after their original cases have been resolved.
Mr. Ricchiuto received his J.D. from New York Law School, where he was awarded the Order of the Barristers for excellence in oral advocacy and brief writing. While in law school, Mr. Ricchiuto was the Executive Editor of the Moot Court Association, where he competed in appellate competitions throughout the country and won numerous awards for both his writing and oral advocacy skills. Mr. Ricchiuto also served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the New Jersey Superior Court.
Mr. Ricchiuto is admitted to the Bars of the States of New York and New Jersey, and the United States District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, and Northern Districts of New York, and the District of New Jersey.
Prior to becoming a plaintiff's lawyer Michael Ricchiuto was an attorney at a premier insurance defense firm at a large global insurance carrier. He fiercely litigated matters in federal and state courts, and tried cases throughout New York City, earning a reputation as a passionate and effective trial lawyer.
