Biography

Michael S. Pollok has been practicing criminal defense law in New York’s local, state and federal courts since 1994. Upon graduating law school, Michael was an associate with the law firm of Barrett Gravante Carpinello & Stern, LLP which later merged with Boies Schiller Flexner, LLP.

Michael then practiced state and federal criminal law in Manhattan with the law firm of Hoffman & Pollok, LLP and acted of counsel to several law firms including Kantor, Davidoff, Mandelker, Twomey, Gallanty & Kokhba, P.C.,Allegaert Berger & Vogel, LLP and Marvin and Marvin, PLLC.

Over the years, Michael has acquired highly specialized knowledge in the areas of state and federal white collar fraud, healthcare and Medicaid/Medicare fraud, homicide and vehicular manslaughter, assault and vehicular assault, sex offenses, drug cases, driving while intoxicated (DWI), driving while under the influence (DUI), driving while ability impaired by alcohol or drugs (DWAI) and he has taught continuing legal education classes to other lawyers on these subjects.

Michael earned his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law, his M.A. from Bard College, and his B.A. from George Washington University. He is admitted to practice law in the State of New York, U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. Courts of Appeal for the 1st and 2nd Circuits, U.S. District Courts for the Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of New York and the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut.
