Michael S. Rosten

Michael focuses on all aspects of commercial and residential real estate, providing counsel to homeowners, developers, banks, mortgage companies and landlords throughout Fairfield and New Haven Counties. Michael has drafted many sets of condominium documents while representing developers across the State of Connecticut.

Michael is also a licensed title insurance agent and real estate salesperson. He has worked with virtually every licensed title insurance company in Connecticut during the course of his almost forty year career. As a licensed real estate salesperson, he maintains memberships in the Statewide Multiple Listing Service as well as the National and Connecticut Association of Realtors and the Greater Fairfield Board of Realtors.

A long-time advocate for the need for affordable housing, Michael recently retired as Board Chair of Operation Hope of Fairfield. He remains an active member of its Advisory and Strategic Planning Committees as well as pro bono counsel. In 2017, he was honored by Operation Hope with the Spollett Waldman Community Leadership Award for his twenty plus years of service.

As an award winning community volunteer and leader, Michael has served on numerous non-profit boards and committees over the years, including as the First Chairman of the Volunteer Center of Greater Bridgeport, formed by the initial graduates of Leadership Greater Bridgeport. He has also served on the Boards of the United Way of Eastern Fairfield County, the American Red Cross of Eastern Fairfield County, Micah Housing, Congregation Beth El in Fairfield (past President and Man of the Year honoree), Regional Network of Programs, Inc., (President and Board Chairman), Prospect House Homeless Shelter Advisory Committee and the Williams College Class of '75 (President, Secretary and Class Agent.) In 1984, he received the prestigious Norman Leeds Award as the outstanding United Way volunteer.
