Biography

Michael Soumas focuses his practice on corporate securities matters, including private and public offerings and ongoing compliance with the U.S. securities laws. He draws on his deep industry experience as an in-house counsel at a global investment bank to also advise clients on equity derivatives, margin loans and structured finance, with special emphasis on working with Israeli tech companies with capital markets-focused needs.

Michael advises clients on a wide variety of securities laws and governance matters, including drafting and reviewing annual, periodic and current reports and proxy statements, compliance with SEC/stock exchange rules and board meeting minutes, as well as with respect to day-to-day operational matters, including contract review, covenant compliance and investor communications. Michael works with many Israeli tech companies in a myriad of areas including life sciences, food-tech, pharma and others.
