Michael T. Edmonds

Michael T. Edmonds: Attorney with The Law Offices of Peter T. Nicholl

Biography

Mr. Edmonds has been with the firm since 1997. During his tenure, he has represented individuals and families harmed by asbestos exposure. Mike has extensive experience handling the full range of diseases (mesothelioma, lung cancer, throat cancer, esophageal cancer, colon cancer, stomach cancer and the non-malignant disease asbestosis) caused by asbestos. His dedicated representation has resulted in recoveries of hundreds of millions of dollars for our asbestos clients.

His involvement in asbestos disease claims is not limited to trial work. He is a seasoned veteran of asbestos bankruptcy trust practice, including arbitrating claims with the scores of asbestos bankruptcy trusts when arbitration is necessary to maximize the value of our clients’ claims. He has arbitrated more asbestos claims than any other Maryland lawyer.

Mike has successfully argued for our clients multiple times in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals and the Maryland Court of Appeals. Few attorneys possess the vast amount of knowledge Mike has in the areas of asbestos litigation and asbestos bankruptcy claims.
