Biography

Mr. Troso graduated Burlington County Police Academy in 1998 and became a Police Officer. While attending Law School at night, he worked full time as an Investigator with the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice. Michael assisted in training new investigators and after being certified by the Police Training Commission as an Instructor, also taught at some police academies. He started his legal career in 2005 as a Deputy Attorney General with the NJ Division of Criminal Justice, specializing in prosecuting complex criminal insurance fraud cases. In 2008, Mr. Troso moved to a private practice defending large insurance companies against Civil Claims and subsequently to another firm focused on defending people in Municipal and Superior Courts, with a heavy concentration in DWI defense; Mr. Troso became a partner in there in 2015. He handled all aspects of a high volume defense practice including motions, pleas, trials and appeals. Since 2010, Michael has represented the Burlington County Board of Social Services providing legal representation before child support hearing officers and family court judges.

Mr. Troso is certified by the Supreme court of New Jersey as a Certified Municipal Court Trial Attorney. His other certifications include :Certified by Draeger as Alcotest Operator; Certified in Drug Evaluation & Classification (NHTSA); Certified in Field Sobriety Testing (NHTSA)

Mr. Troso is licensed to practice in NJ & PA.

His professional memberships include: NJ Bar Association, Member; National College for DUI Defense, Member; DUI Defense Lawyers Association, Founding Member & NJ Ambassador; NJ Association of County Welfare Attorneys, Member.
