Biography

Michelle Canales Chinea is an attorney and notary with over 15 years of experience representing individuals and organizations in civil, administrative, labor, real estate, and immigration matters. She currently focuses her practice on immigration law, assisting clients with applications, legal strategy, and case preparation. Prior to joining Consumer Law Group, Ms. Canales Chinea served as in-house counsel for the Puerto Rico Ports Authority, where she handled regulatory compliance, contract negotiations, and complex administrative and judicial proceedings. She earned her Juris Doctor from the Inter American University of Puerto Rico School of Law and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Humanities from the University of Puerto Rico, along with additional studies in diplomacy and international relations.
