Mike Arias

Mike Arias is the founding and managing partner of Arias Sanguinetti Wang & Team LLP and is based in the firm’s Southern California office. Over a 40-year career, he has litigated and tried cases nationwide in state and federal courts, resolving hundreds of matters that have produced more than $1 billion in client recoveries. He has served as lead, co-lead, or liaison counsel in hundreds of class actions and mass plaintiff cases, often against some of the country’s largest corporations and institutions. Mr. Arias is a past president of both the Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC) and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), and he is a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). His work has earned wide recognition, including California Lawyer of the Year (Daily Journal) and Trial Lawyer of the Year (CAOC), along with honors from The National Law Journal, The Recorder, and Lawdragon. He was co-liaison counsel in the USC/Dr. George Tyndall litigation and helped support legislation that enabled survivors’ claims, leading to the historic $852 million settlement. He is licensed in CA, NY, NJ, and D.C., and holds an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
