Mikel A. Towe

Mikel Towe is a shareholder in the firm’s Knoxville office and joined the office in 2013 after graduation from law school. Mr. Towe graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law and devotes his practice to civil litigation focusing primarily in the areas of insurance litigation involving automobile and trucking accidents, products liability, commercial liability, general liability, as well as insurance coverage and claims litigation. Mr. Towe handles matters in both state and federal courts throughout Tennessee. Mr. Towe often handles complex, high-exposure litigation matters from the pre-litigation investigation phase through their ultimate conclusion.

Born and raised in Powell, Tennessee, Mr. Towe earned his Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude , from the University of Tennessee, where he majored in history and minored in geography. Mr. Towe is a member of Cedar Springs Presbyterian Church. In his time off, you can find Mikel rooting on the University of Tennessee football, basketball, and baseball programs, hanging out with his wife, Elizabeth, spending time outdoors, grilling, and exercising.
