Mishae Boren

Mishae Boren is a true East Texan, born and raised right here in Tyler. Her journey into law began at the University of Texas, but her real passion for defense work was sparked during an internship with Bobby Mims. That experience shaped her career, after graduating from Texas A&M School of Law, she joined the firm as an associate and became a partner at Boren & Mims in 2018. Mishae has handled a wide range of cases, from petty theft to capital murder, and she isn’t afraid to stand before a jury. She has specialized training in DWI detection and blood alcohol analysis, which gives her a significant advantage in the courtroom. She also understands that a legal mistake shouldn’t haunt you forever, so she focuses heavily on expunctions to help clients clear their records. Because of her local roots, Mishae brings a unique perspective to her practice, truly understanding the needs of the people in her community. Whether she is serving on the Smith County Bar Association Board or advocating in federal court, her goal is always to provide a defense that is as compassionate as it is skilled.
