Based in our Oklahoma City, OK office, she is prepared to represent clients throughout Oklahoma County and surrounding areas.Monica attended the University of Oklahoma School of Law, where she earned her Juris Doctor in May of 1999. While in law school, she was inducted into the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honorary Fraternity and selected as the law student representative for OU’s distinguished, interdisciplinary training program on child abuse and neglect. She also achieved Dean’s Honor Roll and an Academic Achievement Award in Trial Techniques for her litigation skills. Additionally, she assisted Professor Robert S. Spector as a family law student intern and clerked for the late Honorable Glenn Dale Carter in the juvenile and family law arena. Prior to law school, Monica received a Bachelor of Science in Family Relations and Child Development from Oklahoma State University.Prior to joining the Oklahoma City divorce and family lawyers at Stange Law Firm, Monica most recently served as an attorney and consultant at her own practice in the OKC metro area. Monica also founded the Oklahoma Rural Association in 2017, where she continues to provide oversight in the areas of economic development, energy, rural education and healthcare. Earlier work experience includes serving as the President and CEO of an Oklahoma based insurance company, owner of her own consulting and legal firm, and executive director, general counsel, and legislative liaison for Oklahoma’s largest domestic insurance and non-profit organization. Monica’s extensive professional experience prepares her to represent you in your family law matter.In addition to the Oklahoma and Oklahoma County Bar Associations, Monica has been involved with Leadership Oklahoma, SALT Program, Downtown Edmond Business Association, and the Oklahoma Automobile Insurance Plan.
