Monique Erica Chase

MONIQUE CHASE is an associate at Outten & Golden LLP, where she represents employees in litigation and negotiation in all areas of employment law, including individual discrimination and retaliation cases, executive and professional contracts and compensation, and whistleblowing. Before joining Outten & Golden, Ms. Chase clerked for the Honorable Ronald L. Ellis of the United States District Court, Southern District of New York.

Ms. Chase received her B.A. from Binghamton University, and her J.D. from Hofstra University School of Law. During law school, she served as an Executive Research Editor of the Hofstra Family Court Review, and interned in the Hearings and Litigation Units at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, New York District Office. She also served as a student advocate in Hofstra’s Law Reform Advocacy Clinic, and was a 2010 New York City Bar Association Diversity Fellow. Her note, “Help is on the Way (Out): Prohibiting the Use of Noncompetition Agreements in the Mental Health Profession,” was published in Volume 49 of the Hofstra Family Court Review. Before law school, Ms. Chase was a Research Associate at the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law.
